🏦 Gratuity Calculator

Calculate your gratuity amount based on salary & service years.

About Our Gratuity Calculator

This Gratuity Calculator helps employees estimate the gratuity amount they are entitled to receive from their employer upon resignation, retirement, or under other specific conditions as per the Payment of Gratuity Act.

How Does It Work?

  • Enter Last Drawn Monthly Salary: Input your last drawn monthly salary. This typically includes basic salary and dearness allowance (DA).
  • Enter Total Years Worked: Input the total number of years (and fractions of a year) you have worked with the employer. A service period of more than six months in the last year is rounded up to the next full year for calculation purposes.
  • Calculate: Click the "Calculate" button.
  • View Results: The tool will display the estimated gratuity amount.

The formula generally used is: Gratuity = (Last Drawn Salary × 15 × Number of Years of Service) / 26

Key Features:

  • Simple and quick calculation.
  • Based on standard gratuity calculation formula.
  • Option to copy the result.
  • Option to download the result as a PDF.

Note: This calculator provides an estimate for informational purposes. The actual gratuity amount may be subject to the provisions of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972, the terms of your employment contract, and the company's policies. The maximum gratuity payable under the Act is currently capped (e.g., ₹20 lakhs, but this can change). This calculator does not account for such statutory caps unless explicitly stated or implemented in its logic. Always consult with your HR department or a legal advisor for precise information.
